Meet Dr Nima Maleiki.

As a Mangawhai local for more than ten years, I am deeply committed to the well-being of our community.

My dedication goes beyond medicine;

I have spent years advocating for safer, sealed roads in Mangawhai to protect our families from the health risks of dust.

In 2025, I was proud to run for local council with your strong support.

My medical journey began at Copenhagen University, leading me to specialize in General Practice in Denmark.

After gaining valuable experience as a GP in Greenland and Norway—where I established my own practice in 2008—I moved to New Zealand in 2016.

I was specifically recruited to provide essential healthcare to our rural community here in Mangawhai.

In addition to local care, I have served for five years as the Clinical Director at Alternaleaf and RestoreMe Clinic, specializing in plant-based and alternative therapies.

My mission is to offer compassionate, high-standard medical services that work for you, removing the need for long trips out of town. I am honored to continue caring for our vibrant community.

You can choose a secure Zoom telehealth or telephone consultation from home, or visit us face-to-face at our Cames Road clinic when needed.

This flexible approach saves you from long drives on rural roads and the rising costs of fuel.

As our local population grows, we understand that existing clinics are facing longer wait times.

We are here to complement the healthcare services available in Mangawhai and the Kaipara area.
